Salicylic acid - Provides deep cleansing and gentle exfoliation of the hair and scalp to help remove stray dandruff, scalp debris and will naturally aid absorption of the Nanogen Hair Growth Factor complex.

Chamomile & Aloe - Contain natural anti-inflammatory properties that may help soothe and calm the scalp.

Keratin - This natural protein provides hair with moisture, body and therefore an instant thickening effect. Rich in cysteine, the amino acid which gives keratin its unique strengthening and protecting qualities.

Panthenol - This vitamin B5 derivative works as a humectant, attracting water from the air and utilising it to improve hair lustre, as well as the strength of the hair follicle. Hair is moisturised, shiny and with less static and flyaways.

Glycerin - A clever humectant able to hold water greater than its own weight for superior moisture levels in the hair.

Redensifying peptides - Peptides to aid the maintenance of healthy hair growth.

How often should I use Nanogen shampoo and conditioners?
We advise that you use both products every time you wash your hair. For best results use together as part of your regime.

Are Nanogen shampoos and conditioners suitable for use on coloured hair?
Yes they are suitable for coloured hair, however for best colour maintenance, we suggest using no more frequently than every other day.

What is SLS and why do you not use it?
Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS) is a surfactant and is very good at cleaning and generating rich lather. But it can be irritating for people. Sulphate alternatives tend to have weak foam and not clean hair as well. We use ALS which has all the cleaning and foaming properties of SLS but without the irritation. ALS is a larger molecule than SLS making it harder to penetrate the scalp skin and thus is far milder. Nanogen as a brand is 100% SLS free.

Do your products contain parabens?
No, our entire product range is paraben free.

Do you test on animals?
Definitely not. Nanogen are passionately against animal testing. As part of the strict requirements of European regulation (2013), we don't test on animals and we won’t ask any other company to test on our behalf. We look forward to the day when animal testing is banned worldwide forever.
