Kmax Stimulating Hair Growth Therapy Spray

Kmax Stimulating Hair Growth Therapy Spray is the new lotion of the Kmax Stimulating line specially designed as an intensive topical treatment for thinning hair to stimulate its natural regrowth.

It owes its action to various synergic active ingredients combined in high dosage to counteract the underlying causes of hair loss, in particular:

  • it provides an inhibitory action of 5-alpha-reductase, the enzyme that converts testosterone into DHT, responsible for the miniaturization of the hair follicle, a phenomenon that underlies androgenetic alopecia
  • Acts as a local anti-inflammatory to counteract scalp irritation
  • It helps the recovery of the normal hair regrowth cycle by stimulating the metabolism of the hair follicle

Active Ingredients

Triaminodil
Active ingredient with stimulating action on hair regrowth which owes its action to the extraordinary structural similarity to the well-known Minoxidil. Its effectiveness has been verified in several clinical studies that have used it in concentrations around 1%: in the product Kmax it has been dosed at a final concentration of 5% to make the most out of its potential.

Azelaic acid
It is a dicarboxylic acid that inhibits the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase, the enzyme responsible for converting testosterone into DHT, a hormone involved in the development of androgenetic baldness because it causes the miniaturization of the hair follicle and consequent hair loss. It also has an antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant action, which helps to slow down the hair fall process.

18 beta glycyrrhetic acid
Organic acid extracted from licorice, it has been shown to have significant anti-inflammatory activity, very similar to that of cortisone (cortison-like). Thanks to its action it helps to keep under control the levels of cortisol, the so-called stress hormone, involved in the phenomenon of hair loss.

Betasitosterol
Beta-sitosterol is a plant steroid, extractable from Saw Palmetto (Serenoa repens) or Pygeum africanum, a dwarf palm that produces small reddish fruits from which this active ingredient with strong antiandrogenic properties is extracted. High levels of androgens in fact contribute to the miniaturization of the hair follicle which can lead to the final death of the bulb and irreversible hair loss. By regulating the levels of androgens, beta sitosterol thus slows down hair loss.

Genistein
It is an isoflavone derived from soy that acts as a phytoestrogen, with a strong stimulating action of the anagen phase of the hair growth cycle (the active growth phase in which the new hair is formed).

Nigella sativa essential oil
This is a precious essential oil that owes its properties to its most abundant constituent, namely thymoquinone, a molecule with strong anti-inflammatory properties.

Procapil
This is a patented complex containing the Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1 peptide, obtained from oleanolic acid and apigenin, which is important for anchoring hair roots and promoting keratinocyte activity.

Oleanolic acid
Is extracted from olive leaves, and it is considered a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor - for this reason it has been included for some years in some of the most innovative preparations for hair care and to counteract seborrhea problems.

Apigenin
A plant flavonoid that has a stimulating effect on hair growth.

Caffeine
It belongs to the class of xanthines, which can perform a strong stimulating action by activating the protein kinase system and thus modulating the energy availability for the protein synthesis of the hair. For this reason, several studies have confirmed the effectiveness of topical use of xanthines in the treatment of common baldness with the aim of lengthening the anagen phase of the hair growth cycle.

Sodium salicylate
Sodium salt of salicylic acid: it is an active ingredient with an anti-inflammatory, soothing and light exfoliating effect. It also facilitates the skin penetration of the other active ingredients contained in the formula.

Zinc sulfate and Vitamin B6
The synergy of Zinc and Vitamin B6, assisted by azelaic acid, have shown great ability to inhibit in vitro, the enzyme 5-alpha redactase, the enzyme responsible for the conversion of testosterone into DHT, a hormone implicated in the development of androgenetic baldness because it causes the miniaturization of the hair follicle and consequent hair loss.
