Kmax Stimulating Supplement Anti DHT

See more from Kmax

Food supplement for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia. Its main natural extracts such as serenoa repens, beta sitosterol, nettle and zinc, help to control the levels of DHT, the hormone that activates the process of miniaturization of the hair follicle, responsible for shortening the hair growth phase until the complete disappearance of the hair itself. Low levels of DHT therefore help reduce hair loss and stimulate hair regrowth.

Kmax Stimulating Supplement Anti DHT

Kmax Stimulating supplement- Anti-DHT is a nutritional supplement specifically formulated for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia with the main natural extracts having 5 alpha reductase inhibition and antioxidant activities.

Saw Palmetto (Serenoa repens Small) The lipophilic extract (45% fatty acids and sterols) of the berries of Serenoa repens is used as an adjuvant in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia stage I and II and the symptoms associated with it. Taken orally has shown to have anti-androgenic effects inhibiting the 5-alpha-reductase enzyme type I and II (as the synthetic drug Finasteride), the androgen cytosolic receptor (AR) and the estrogen cytosolic receptor (ER) . The main effect of the extract of Serenoa Repens is due to the inhibition of 5 - alpha-reductase type I and type II enzymes involved in the conversion of testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which trigger the hair follicle miniaturization (dwarfing) process, shortening the growth phase (anagen) with loss of hair pigment thatcan proceed until the total disappearance of the hair itself.

Flax) They are present in the woody part of plants, but also in Apple, in cabbage and in numerous seeds. Lignans have antioxidant, cancer-preventive properties and can be useful in anti-estrogen therapy. Possess anti-viral, antifungal and antibacterial activity. Lignans are present in quantities in flax seeds. Flax seed have been ever used for hair problems, but only in recent studies it has been shown that lignans of flax seeds contain active substances effective against the most common prostate diseases. In particular linseed are rich in secoisolariciresinol (SDG) and secoisolariciresinol (in the form of aglycone), but also contain matairesinol and pinoresinol.

Beta Sitosterol Beta Sitosterol is a steroid, extractable from Saw Palmetto (Serenoa repens), from Pyeum africanum and Hypoxis Rooperi, which presents the characteristics of a 17-progestin substituted and of a weak estrogen (and anti-estrogen). Is able to bind to both 5 alpha reductase enzymes (type I and type II) and to androgen receptors which binds to dihydrotestosterone ( the sexual steroid at the base of androgenetic alopecia) and other androgens. It binds to estrogens receptors on the cell membrane activating them, though acting as anti-estrogen preventing the receptors to bind to real estrogens whose potency is several times higher . At the hair follicle level this activation could promote the activation of the cell membrane adenil cyclase that in turn stimulate the mitosis of the hair matrix, so contributing to the anagen phase maintenance and to optimize the catagen phase and the next hair cycle.

Stinging Nettle (Urtica dioica)) Nettle root has anti-androgen activity as saw palmetto extract, and is also active in contrasting sebum and dandruff. The root contains scopetolo, homovanillic alcohol, lignans, derivatives of sitosterol and is used in the pathology of benign prostatic hypertrophy, limiting the size of the prostate, perhaps due to an interaction between substances present in nettle root and the globulin that binds androgens in the serum.

Astaxanthin) Astaxanthin has significant beneficial effects in various diseases involving the central nervous system, eyes, joints , heart, diabetes, inflammatory states and immune dysfunctions. Some recent studies have reported significant astaxanthin activity in inhibition of 5 alpha reductase so showing the usefulness of this natural m6olecule in decreasing the symptoms of prostatic hyperplasia and in fighting prostate cancer. The same compound, according to these studies, seems to increase the effectiveness of saw palmetto extract in its anti-DHT and it is probably useful for use in the field against androgenetic alopecia.

Zinc) Zinc inhibits the activity of 5 alpha reductase up to 30% and is often used to reduce sebum secretion. It is used in the healing process for internal and external injuries (increases the speed of wound healing) in the treatment of acne and seborrheic dermatitis. Zinc, as other substance of supplement, acts to prevent the formation of dihydrotestosterone inhibiting the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase.

Silica (Silicon)) Some studies and the practical and widespread use of silica and organic silicon as supplements highlighted in recent years the usefulness of this important mineral and its positive action in strengthening nails, hair, bone structure and health of skin . The effectiveness and quality of some herbal remedies as horsetail are just based on silicon percentage content of their extracts. Some important studies have shown significant hair thickening in few months of dietary silicon intake.

Copper) Copper in the human body is essential for the activity of several enzymes including ceruloplasmin, SOD (superoxide dismutase) and cytochrome C oxidase. The first two enzymes in particular are among the most valid opponents to oxidation triggered by free radicals .This mineral participates in the formation of hemoglobin and red blood cells by facilitating iron absorption and conversion of tyrosine into a dark pigment for skin and hair, participates in protein metabolism and promotes the wound healing process. Copper also promotes elastin production trough the oxidation of vitamin C and is required for the production of connective tissue, bone and for maintaining the integrity of the vascular system. The ratio of copper to zinc should be about 1 to 10 so it is recommended to supplement with copper when taking zinc containing supplements or when the level of zinc in serum is high or in excess of this optimal ratio with the copper serum level.
